Our Full-Day Kindergarten program provides a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where young learners begin their educational journey with confidence and joy. Designed to support the whole child, our program balances structured learning with play-based exploration, helping children develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional well-being. Rooted in Islamic values, our kindergarten program emphasizes kindness, respect, curiosity, and love for learning. Through age-appropriate activities, storytelling, hands-on experiences, and daily routines, students develop independence, confidence, and a strong sense of identity while feeling safe and supported. Our dedicated educators work closely with families to ensure a smooth transition into school life and to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The Elementary School Program at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Islamic Academy offers a balanced and enriching education that nurtures academic excellence alongside strong moral and Islamic character. Our program follows provincial curriculum standards while integrating Islamic teachings, values, and practices into daily learning. Students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and grow as responsible, compassionate individuals. With a focus on literacy, numeracy, sciences, social studies, and Islamic studies, our classrooms foster curiosity, discipline, and personal growth. Through a supportive learning environment, experienced educators, and a strong partnership with families, we aim to prepare students to succeed academically while confidently living their faith in the wider Canadian society.
Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Islamic Academy is pleased to announce the launch of its Junior High School Program (Grades 7–9) beginning in the 2026 school year. This program is designed to support students during a critical stage of academic, personal, and spiritual development, as they transition from elementary learning to more independent and rigorous study. The Junior High program will follow provincial curriculum requirements while integrating Islamic values, character education, and leadership development. Students will be encouraged to develop strong study habits, critical thinking skills, and a sense of responsibility, while deepening their understanding of Islam and their identity as confident Muslim youth. Through a supportive and structured environment, the program will prepare students for academic success and responsible engagement within the wider Canadian society.
Beginning in the 2026 school year, Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Islamic Academy will expand its academic pathway with the introduction of a High School Program (Grades 10–11). This program is designed to provide students with a rigorous, well-rounded education that prepares them for post-secondary studies, careers, and leadership roles, while remaining firmly grounded in Islamic principles. The High School program will offer a strong academic curriculum aligned with provincial standards, alongside Islamic studies, character development, and community engagement opportunities. Students will be guided to think critically, act ethically, and develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate modern challenges with faith, integrity, and purpose. Our goal is to graduate students who are academically prepared, socially responsible, and spiritually grounded leaders of the future.
